Check-outs run to a deadline. Keys go back on a Friday, the new tenant moves in on the Monday, and the clean has to happen in between. Our yard is on Wotton Road, so an Ashford booking doesn’t have to be fitted around travel, and if something needs a second visit we’re round the corner rather than forty miles away.

The rental stock here splits fairly cleanly. A lot of the newer estates at Park Farm, Repton, Singleton and Chilmington are let to commuters using the international station, with tenancies turning over every year or two. Inventory clerks photograph the outside of the property as well as the inside.

A green patio, a mossy driveway and streaked windows all end up in the check-out report, and none of them get touched by a standard end of tenancy clean.
