Why Choose Us For Window Cleaning

Window cleaners based in Ashford

Ashford is our home town, which makes it the easiest place in Kent for us to get to.

Our yard is on Wotton Road, so most Ashford work goes on a regular round rather than being fitted in around travel. That means we turn up when we say we will, and if something isn’t right we can come back the same week rather than the following month.

We do a lot of the newer estates out at Park Farm, Repton and Chilmington, plus the older streets around the town centre and the villages out towards Wye and Charing.

Everything is cleaned from ground level using a water-fed pole, so no ladders go against your property.

How we clean your windows

Purified water and a soft brush, with the frames and sills done as standard.

Ordinary tap water carries dissolved minerals, and when it dries on glass it leaves those minerals behind. That’s what spotting and streaking actually is. Purified water has had them filtered out, so it dries clear without needing to be squeegeed or buffed.

What that means in practice:

  • The frames and sills get cleaned too, not just the glass. That’s where most of the visible grime sits.
  • Upstairs windows are no harder than downstairs, including awkward access over a conservatory or extension.
  • Nothing leans against your house, your guttering or your borders.
  • No detergents running off onto your paintwork or into your planting.

We bring our own water, so there’s nothing for you to provide.

How Often For Window Cleaning
Why Professional Window Cleaning

How often should windows be cleaned?

Every four to eight weeks for most Ashford properties.

It depends where you are more than what sort of house you’ve got. The newer estates at Park Farm, Repton and Singleton are open and exposed, so they pick up dust and rain spotting quickly. Six weeks tends to work well there.

The older streets around the town centre and Beaver Road sit under more tree cover, where sap and pollen mark the glass more stubbornly than dust does.

Out in the villages at Wye, Charing, Bethersden and Smarden it’s usually quieter air and less traffic film, so eight weeks is often plenty.

Most customers start with a one-off and move onto a round once they’ve seen the difference. There’s no contract and no obligation to continue.

What we clean

Not just the front of the house.
  • Glass, frames, sills and door glass
  • Conservatory glass and roofs
  • Velux and roof windows
  • Bifold and patio door glass
  • Glazed porches and solar tubes
  • Shopfronts, offices and commercial glazing

Plenty of the newer Ashford estates have large glazed rear elevations and bifolds, which are exactly the sort of thing that looks worse for being half clean. They’re included as standard rather than priced as an extra.

If you want the gutters, fascias or soffits doing at the same time, mention it when you book. We’re already at the property with the pole system, so it’s simpler than arranging a separate visit.

FAQS

It depends on the size of the property and how many windows there are. A terraced house is at the lower end, a large detached with a conservatory towards the higher. We’ll give you a fixed price before any work starts and there’s no charge for quoting.
No. Almost all of our window cleaning is external, so as long as we can get access round the property you don’t need to be in. Just let us know about locked gates, dogs or anything else we should know about.
Every four to eight weeks suits most properties. On the newer, more exposed estates six weeks tends to work well. Out in the villages, eight is often plenty.
Yes, as standard. The frames and sills are usually where the visible dirt is, so cleaning the glass alone tends to look half-finished.
Yes. We’re regularly out at Wye, Charing, Bethersden, Smarden, Pluckley, Mersham, Sellindge, Hamstreet and Tenterden, along with the smaller villages in between.
