Traffic film is the difference between a Maidstone window and one out in the villages. It’s a fine, greasy deposit that rain doesn’t wash away, and it builds up faster on anything facing the A20, the A229 or the M20 corridor. Properties along those routes generally want doing more often than the national rule of thumb suggests.
We’re based in Ashford and out in Maidstone most weeks. Most of our work here is a regular round, but we’re just as happy doing a one-off before a house sale or at the end of a tenancy.

Window Cleaning
Purified water and a soft brush, with the frames and sills done as standard.
Ordinary tap water carries dissolved minerals, and when it dries on glass it leaves those minerals behind. That’s what spotting and streaking actually is. Purified water has had them filtered out, so it dries clear without needing to be squeegeed or buffed.
We bring our own water, so there’s nothing for you to provide.
What that means in practice:
Every four to eight weeks for most Maidstone properties, though it depends where you are.
Closer to the town centre and along the main routes, four weeks keeps them consistently clean. Out at Bearsted, Detling, Harrietsham and the villages, six to eight weeks is usually plenty.
Tree cover changes it too. The older streets towards Tovil and Loose are heavily lined with limes and sycamores, and sap and pollen mark glass more stubbornly than dust does.
Most customers start with a one-off and move onto a round once they’ve seen the difference. There’s no contract and no obligation to continue.

If you want the gutters, fascias or soffits doing at the same time, it’s worth mentioning when you book. We’re already at the property with the pole system, so it’s simpler than arranging a separate visit.

It depends on the size of the property and how many windows there are. A terraced house is at the lower end, a large detached with a conservatory towards the higher. We'll give you a fixed price before any work starts and there's no charge for quoting.
No. Almost all of our window cleaning is external, so as long as we can get access round the property you don't need to be in. Just let us know about locked gates, dogs or anything else we should know about.
