The commuter flats and conversions around Maidstone East and West see tenancies churn quickly, often twelve months at a time. Around the town centre there’s a lot of Victorian and Edwardian housing split into flats, where original features, high skirtings and sash windows all take longer than a modern build.

Inventory clerks photograph the outside of the property as well as the inside.
A green patio, a mossy driveway and streaked windows all end up in the check-out report, and none of them get touched by a standard end of tenancy clean.
On the family lets out at Grove Green and Weavering that’s usually where the money is. A patio that’s gone green over two winters photographs badly and costs someone their deposit, and it’s a cheaper problem to clean than to argue about.

Anyone carrying waste from someone else’s property in England needs to be a registered waste carrier. Plenty of cleaning firms aren’t, which is why the rubbish tends to end up in bags by the bins for the landlord to deal with.
We work alongside our sister company, Kent Clearance, which holds an Upper Tier waste carrier registration with the Environment Agency, number CBDU560725. That means anything cleared out during the clean can be taken away and disposed of properly, with a transfer note if you need one for your records.
